Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Sons Linked to Firecracker Incident at Georgia Equestrian Camp, Report Says
Police were called to the Alpharetta, Georgia home of reality television star Kim Zolciak in late November after a 911 caller reported that teenagers were throwing firecrackers and eggs at a nearby equestrian camp. According to an incident report obtained by Us Weekly, the call came in on November 25, 2025, and involved allegations that a teenage male was standing on the porch of Zolciak’s home and “screaming obscenities” at a horseback riding facility in the area. The caller also said the teen threw firecrackers in the direction of the camp.
Although the 911 caller did not directly name Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s sons, the incident report indicates that the couple’s children, 14-year-old Kash and 15-year-old KJ, were involved. Police responded to the scene and spoke with Zolciak, 48. According to the report, officers “advised her to talk to her boys about yelling obscenities out the back of their house toward the horse farm.” Zolciak reportedly said she would review her home security cameras and address the issue with her sons.
The report also includes a notable detail from the complainant: they claimed they had tried to reach a parent at the home in the past but “has never seen a parent there.” The caller also told dispatchers that this was “not the first time” the teen and his younger brother had been involved in similar behavior. The complaint adds to a series of recent incidents involving the family’s teenage sons and the neighboring equestrian property.
The November call was not the first time authorities had been contacted about alleged harassment of the horse farm. TMZ reported in September that a similar incident had occurred on July 14. According to a police report obtained by that outlet, one of Zolciak and Biermann’s sons was accused of shooting a pellet gun in an attempt to scare horses at the facility. An employee at the farm told police that, to her knowledge, no horses or individuals had been hit by the pellets. However, the employee also said she had experienced prior problems with the children, describing them as “verbally rude and uncooperative” when they were confronted about their behavior.
The teen’s name was redacted in that police report, TMZ noted. When officers arrived at the scene, they observed “20 to 30 pellets scattered in the roadway next to the property.” Police spoke with Zolciak’s son, who admitted to shooting the pellet gun but denied that he was trying to strike any horses or people. No charges were filed in connection with that incident.
Us Weekly reached out to representatives for Zolciak and KJ for comment on the November 2025 incident. The new details come at a particularly difficult time for the family, as KJ is already dealing with serious criminal charges in a separate case.
KJ, the eldest son of Zolciak and Biermann, was arrested in August on charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sodomy following an alleged incident involving an unidentified minor female at a local gym. He was later indicted on more extensive charges: aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16. On Tuesday, October 6, Us Weekly confirmed that KJ had pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Following KJ’s arrest, Zolciak issued a public statement defending her son. “The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” she told Us Weekly. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.”
Zolciak continued: “False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation.” She concluded, “We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
KJ’s legal team has also spoken out. His attorney, Jason Sheffield, previously told Us Weekly, “First and foremost, this is not the kind of information that should be for public dissemination. These are juveniles.” Sheffield’s comments reflect the sensitivity of the case, which involves multiple minor alleged victims and has generated significant media attention.
The criminal case against KJ took another turn recently when investigators said they discovered footage on his phone allegedly showing him and an unidentified family member under the age of 12 engaging in sexual activity. Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy stated that prosecutors allegedly found evidence of “multiple encounters” in which KJ used “predatory [and] derogatory” language with the victim. The latest allegations have not been addressed by KJ, who has remained silent on the additional accusations.
The firecracker and pellet gun incidents are separate from the criminal case, but they have nonetheless added to the scrutiny surrounding the family. The repeated complaints from the neighboring equestrian facility paint a picture of ongoing tension between the property and Zolciak and Biermann’s household. The complainant’s statement that they had “never seen a parent there” is particularly striking, as it suggests that efforts to resolve the situation directly with the boys’ parents were unsuccessful.
For her part, Zolciak has maintained that she takes the complaints seriously, telling officers that she would review camera footage and speak with her sons. It remains unclear whether any additional action was taken after the November 25 call or whether the family has implemented any changes to address the neighbor’s concerns.
The situation also raises broader questions about the challenges of parenting teenagers in the public eye. Zolciak and Biermann have long shared their family life on reality television, from Zolciak’s time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta to the couple’s own series, Don’t Be Tardy. Now, their sons are at the center of multiple police reports and a high-profile criminal case, and the family’s private struggles have become increasingly public.
As of now, there is no indication that either of the boys will face charges related to the firecracker or pellet gun incidents. Law enforcement did not file charges in the July pellet gun case, and the November incident appears to have been handled with a conversation between police and Zolciak. Still, the record of repeated complaints may be significant if any further incidents occur.
Us Weekly’s report did not include a comment from Kroy Biermann. The former NFL player has largely stayed out of the public statements regarding KJ’s legal case, leaving Zolciak to speak on behalf of the family. It is also unclear how the new allegations involving the phone footage will affect KJ’s pending case. His not-guilty plea means the matter will proceed through the court system, where both the prosecution and defense will have the opportunity to present evidence.
The family’s legal troubles are ongoing, and the details that continue to emerge have kept the case in the headlines. Between the alleged incidents at the equestrian camp and the serious charges KJ is facing, the Zolciak-Biermann household remains under intense scrutiny. For now, the 911 call from late November serves as another chapter in a turbulent period for the family, one that shows no signs of slowing down.
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Zolciak and KJ for further comment on the latest report. Neither the reality star nor her son has publicly responded to the firecracker incident as of this writing. KJ has not addressed the additional allegations involving the recorded footage, and his attorney’s earlier statement urging the public to remember that juveniles are involved stands as the most recent word from his legal team.
As the legal process continues, those following the case will be watching to see how the various allegations are resolved. For the family, the immediate concern may be managing the fallout from the latest police report while also preparing for the legal battles ahead.
