The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) is making progress on its 2023 Strategic Plan, which focuses on delivering, supporting, and sustaining war-winning platforms and capabilities for the Air Force. The command has also focused on strengthening its team by establishing a new Digital Innovation and Integration Center of Excellence, improving personnel processes, revamping the civilian sponsorship program, and creating a spouse support program. In addition, AFMC has worked on revolutionizing its processes through the release of a digital white paper, the establishment of a Digital Acceleration Task Force, the creation of a Digital Materiel Management Industry Association Consortium, and the implementation of lean processes.
Lastly, AFMC has aimed to amplify its warfighting culture by highlighting its impacts on the B-21 Bomber program, creating a fully threat-informed workforce, and emphasizing the criticality of combatting adversary threats in daily work. Moving forward, AFMC will continue to execute actions aligned with each line of effort and remain committed to meeting current and future threat needs through collaboration and enterprise solutions.
